Dreamcatcher™ fur fun days offer therapeutic recreational and educational field trips for school aged children, youth, adults, and seniors of all ages and abilities! Led by our qualified group leaders and animal handlers, our field trips provide an immersive experience designed to engage our guests in humane education through participating in Animal-Assisted Activities (AAA) with our Human Services Assistance Animals (HSAAs). 

Participants will have the opportunity to interact with a wide range of certified HSAAs such as horses, donkeys, goats, sheep, and chickens. These interactions can help to deepen their connection to both nature and animals, foster empathy and compassion, boost confidence and self-esteem, enhance social skills, decrease depression and anxiety, build healthy relationships, improve life and social skills, increase motivation to meet goals, feel unconditional love and acceptance, learn animal husbandry skills, and more!

All Fur Fun Days are specially tailored to meet the needs of the participants. ​

The program offers Animal-Assisted Therapy with a mental health component as well as Animal-Assisted Activities which provide opportunity for hands-on learning. To date, Dreamcatcher™ participants have come from Head start programs, Elementary, Junior, and Senior High Schools, Shelters, Recovery Centres, Post Secondary Schools, Nursing Homes, Hospitals, and more to experience our interactive animal activities first hand.
