Farm Animal Field Trips Tailored for Every Age

Woman participating in a Fur Fun Days animal field trip at Dreamcatcher near Edmonton
Dreamcatcher™ fur fun days offer therapeutic recreational and educational field trips for school aged children, youth, adults, and seniors of all ages and abilities! Led by our qualified group leaders and animal handlers, our field trips provide an immersive experience designed to engage our guests in humane education through participating in Animal-Assisted Activities (AAA) with our Human Services Assistance Animals (HSAAs).

Participants will have the opportunity to interact with a wide range of certified HSAAs such as horses, donkeys, goats, sheep, and chickens. These interactions can help to:
  • Deepen connection to nature and animals
  • Foster empathy and compassion
  • Boost confidence and self-esteem
  • Enhance social skills
  • Decrease depression and anxiety
  • Build healthy relationships
  • Learn animal husbandry skills

Dreamcatcher™ is dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome. Our fur fun days are specially tailored to meet the unique needs and interests of our guests, ensuring that everyone can benefit from their participation in group activities.

Whether it’s learning about our HSAAs, engaging in fun, team-building activities, or simply enjoying the serene natural surroundings, Dreamcatcher™ fur fun days promise a memorable and enriching experience for participants of all ages.
