What's New

Rejuvenation Program for First Responders and Front Line Workers

Have you been on the front lines during Covid?

Do you sacrifice every day to care for others as part of your job while worried about you and those you love at home?

Do you feel like you need a break from it all?

Do you love the outdoors? Horses? Farm animals?

Do you want to get away for a moment?

If the answer is yes, yes, yes, yes.. please reach out to us through our Contact Us form

As a way to give back to you who gives so much to others, we are donating safe, peaceful, quiet, fun, heart warming animal interactions to you. Our therapy animals are just that and we will make time for you to get what you need here with them.
We look forward to sharing our sanctuary with you.

Thank you Global News Edmonton for capturing the very essence of what we are trying to offer our First Responders and Front Line Workers!

We are so grateful to be able to help those who help everyone else.

***COVID-19 UPDATE MARCH 25, 2020***

YES, we are still OPEN; however, our hours have been modified and we have instituted new protocols in order to abide by the mandatory social distancing recommendations from our governing bodies.

NEW HOURS
The Dreamcatcher™ Office Administrator is working remotely from 8.30am – 4.30 Monday to Thursday. Please call and leave messages or email anytime regarding any questions/concerns you might have. The office hours will be closed on Fridays during this pandemic.

Therapist are available from 9am – 6pm Monday – Wednesday, and 9am – 5pm Thursdays. Each therapists schedule is different, please contact admin to book or reschedule appointments.

NEW MEDIUMS
We are considered an essential medical service to the community and will still be providing health care, to you or the person in your care. We recommend switching all in-person sessions, consultations, and case conferences to either online or over the phone where possible. We are offering online sessions through a secure platform where they can see their Dreamcatcher™ therapist and animals while they chat. We will be offering teleplay sessions to children in the near future so sessions can be more engaging and fun for them, and parent coaching/strategy sessions to assist caregivers.
You are still welcome to attend in-person sessions as well. Please see below for details.

STAYING HEALTHY
Please help keep our team healthy as we take active measures to protect our clients, volunteers and staff through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our team will be screening for:
  • travel outside of Canada in the last 14 days
  • symptoms of the flu or cold (cough, fever, difficulty breathing, etc)
  • contact with anyone that has travelled or has shown symptoms of illness

IN PERSON APPOINTMENTS
Please remain in your vehicle and call our direct line 780.809.1047 ext 1 to inform us that you have arrived for your appointment. A member of our team will greet you once they are able. Please remain at the ranch in your vehicle until this has been completed.
There will be a Dreamcatcher™ staff in the office building at least one hour before clients arrive during the week to ensure the building is sanitized and prepped for visitors. If you need to use the washroom while you are on the property, feel free to enter the building and the staff on site will ensure all surfaces are disinfected before you enter and after you leave.
If you have concerns or questions that require the attention of the Executive Director of Dreamcatcher™, please email eileen@dreamcatcherassociation.com

PAYMENTS
We will no longer be accepting cash. Email Money Transfer or Manual credit card payments can be made over the phone or using the card you have on file.
Thank you for your respect and understanding during this challenging time we are all facing. We are doing our best to keep our team and clients healthy in order to continue being available to provide the healthcare services for you and the people in your care in the upcoming weeks
